On the shores of Gull Lake, stone and wood worked in quiet conversation. The Interlachen Modern Lakehouse designed by Tays & Co Design Studios features an extensive use of Wildflower Orchard Limestone alongside warm wood tones and natural textures to create spaces that feel settled, cohesive, and deeply connected to their surroundings. The most compelling spaces aren’t built on contrast alone, but on balance, material harmony, and restraint.
