Interlachen Modern Lake House

Interlachen Modern Lake House is designed around the relationship between water, light, and natural material. On the shores of Gull Lake, expansive glass and warm wood establish an open, contemporary backdrop, while Creative Mines Wildflower Orchard Limestone introduces a sense of weight, texture, and permanence. Used on exterior columns and carried into the interior stone column and fireplace wall, Wildflower Orchard Limestone anchors the home’s airy spaces without competing with the view. Its soft mix of cream, white, and natural gray gives the stone a quiet presence against the warmth of wood and the clarity of the home’s modern lines. Rather than acting as a surface finish alone, the stone helps define the architectural moments that bring the home together.
